Why do I sell these devices?

Every now and then I get a double of one of these beautiful devices. I then carefully restore it to its former glory and put it up for sale. I more often cannot replace perished parts such as rubber tubing, because it is no longer possible to buy gutta percha (original natural rubber) and replacing parts with modern ones kind of defeats the purpose, unless they are used just for demonstration.
